First Church of Christ, Scientist, Greater Lansing

The King James Version of the Bible anchors our church services, teachings in Sunday School, and is the topic of discussion in the Reading Room.  Many Bibles and Bible study aids may be purchased or used at our Reading Room, or bought online.  To read it and conduct a word search online, click here.

The Mary Baker Eddy Library in Boston, Massachusetts holds a collection of more than 400 historic Bibles in 16 languages.  It includes Bibles dating from the 1530s, with first editions of the King James, Coverdale and Matthew Bibles. 

Christian Science Bible Lessons

These Lessons, studied by persons of many faith traditions, are a daily resource for comfort, support and inspiration.  Each Lesson consists of Bible verses amplified and explained by related pages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.  The passages provide a basis for independent study of a weekly theme, and form the basis of the Sunday church service in Christian Science churches around the world.
