The Christian Science Reading Room is not just for reading, and not just for Christian Scientists. It's a center for exploring spirituality and prayer-based healing, a community bookstore, and more.
Located in the distinctive round structure at the corner of E. Grand River and Collingwood, in East Lansing, across from the MSU campus. Hours: Mon. and Wed., 10 AM-7:30 PM. Tues., Thurs., Fri., 10 AM-4 PM. Saturday, 10 AM-1 PM.
The Reading Room offers:
Information and materials about Christian Science and its discoverer, Mary Baker Eddy, including her primary work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and her other writings, which explain and illustrate the healing power demonstrated by Christ Jesus.
Available for purchase and study, a variety of Bibles and Bible research materials, as well as books and magazines in various languages, children’s products, CDs and audio books, and world news from The Christian Science Monitor.
Inviting open rooms for a variety of purposes (one with a fireplace); separate rooms for quiet prayer and study; a secluded outdoor courtyard for use in fine weather.
